copy an item doubles all items within

I have found a problem (feature?)

Normally i copy an item or a group of items with holding down the alt-Button and then dragging the item to its destination.

When i do this with the b8 Version i get a double of every item in the subfolder it is in.

this was done with a simple copy.
Why is everything double and with an alias?
