Copy/paste paste as plain text

Hi,
Im looking for an paste as plain text option when I copy text from a webpage into my notes. By default it comes with the original format from the web page.

Any chance to insert as plain text or use the format of the notes were its added?

best regards, Tom

Edit menu, select “Paste and Match Style”.

Were do I find this menue in DEVONthink to Go?

best regards, Tom

Nice, sadly we are in the „DT to go“ for IOS area

Haha - we both missed that. There is no such command in DEVONthink To Go .

PS: There is no singular “note” format in DEVONthink. What are you refering to?

MacStories has published a shortcut that might do the trick on iOS:

It’s named „ Clean Up Rich Text“.

Is there a chance the past and match style option could be included in the right-click contextual menu (DT 3 Pro)?

There’s a chance but most contextual menus are already quite crowded. What about the shortcut, isn’t that more efficient anyway?

That’s fair enough.
Yes, I’ve seen the shortcut, but it’s pretty complex for a simple task (four fingers), makes it awkward.
I’ll try and get used to the option from the finder menu.
Cheers!

That’s the standard shortcut, i.e., seen in TextEdit, Word, Pages, etc., not something we invented.
