Create link in annotations to page in PDF?

Hi all

I use annotations when reading PDFs to take notes. The other day I was reading a long PDF and when using the keyboard shortcut to highlight a passage I inadvertently created a link to the page number using a keyboard shortcut. Please see the screenshot to see what I mean. The screenshot shows page 74 as a link which when clicked will take me to that page. I have no idea how this happened! (This is different than the copy link feature. I use that all the time too, but it is not what I am referring to.) Being able to have a link to a specific page number in the PDF would be very useful. Thanks and please let me know if I can be more clear.

Assuming you mean annotation files, you accidentally pressed Control-Command-L which is Insert Back Link in the Annotations flyout of the Annotations & Reminders inspector.
Highlighting is Shift-Command-L.

Amazing! Yes. That is exactly what I wanted to know. Many thanks.

You’re very welcome
