My workflow involves creating rich text files that have the same name and custom metadata of specific pdf documents. The rich text files are my notes on the pdf documents. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way of automating the creation of the rich text files, with the corresponding custom metadata, instead of creating them one by one and filling in the custom metadata myself. A smart rule won’t do, right?
I have also experimented with the pdf’s annotations but the rich text file in the annotations group doesn’t have the pdf’s metadata. Is there a way to get the annotations file to have the same metadata as the corresponding pdf?
