Since version 3.8.7, the cursor in Markdown files jumps to the next paragraph instead to the next line when I use the cursor up- and down-keys. Maybe this behavior is intended, but it’s really disrupting my writing-flow. Is there a setting or any other workaround to disable that behavior?
Well spotted. I see same (but not in txt, rtf, or other formats). I cannot find any setting nor am I aware of any macOS short cuts or key definitions I’ve setup for those cursor keys.

For the time being, I re-installed 3.8.6. Wanted to start working on my document 
That’s a pity to chose to deinstall the app just for that. You can of course use so many other text and md editors on your files, keeping them stored in DEVONthink.
