Dark background for sheets won't turn off

I have use dark background for documents off, and it works except for sheets which are dark. Is this a bug or is there another setting?

Do you use dark mode? In addition, which background color is selected in Preferences > Files > Sheets?

Hello. I am using dark mode, but set the documents to white (which works)… preference for sheets is white, but displays black.

Which version of macOS do you use?

12.0.1 - should be the latest

The generic setting for dark backgrounds isn’t used by sheets. But the next release should fix this as independent background colors for light/dark mode will be possible in Preferences > Files > Sheets
