Using the latest version of DT4 with macOS 26 and OS dark mode enabled using the setting use dark background for documents enabled all text on PDF files is “hidden”. Disabling the setting reveals the text.
Is this intentional or a bug?
It should look like in Preview.app using Dark Appearance for PDF.
OK, so it is correct behavior as I don’t see any text in Preview as well when I enable this.
I wouldn’t call it the “correct” behavior, just (another) bug of macOS Tahoe. P.S: Which app did you use the create these documents?
The documents were downloaded, for example bank statements or other official documents.
