Database inits but gives error message.

Hello,
I just switched to Leopard, running on a MacBook Pro. When I open DT 1.5 it opens just fine. I selected my database and get a message “Initialization: Database is already in use.” This is my main db. I can click “ignore” and it will open and be useable. But I’m worried about possible corruption. Anyone know this problem?

You are probably OK. But it would be a good time to run Tools > Verify & Repair to check for any possible errors.

I use and recommend Scripts > Export > Backup Archive as a periodic backup option. A big advantage is that you can save the compressed and dated archive file to another storage device for added insurance against a hard drive failure or other possible catastrophe.
