Deleting annotations

I use images & PDFs a lot. I am a noob to DT but am having issues deleting annotations. For example, I might draw an arrow or write some text on an image.Then I keep making some edits to the image. I decide I don’t need that arrow any more but I can’t figure out how to delete it.

I came from EverNote where it was straight forward where you would simply press the delete key. In DT that doesn’t seem to work & I cannot find a delete option.

I feel silly asking as I figure it must be easy to find but I can’t seem to find anything on it.

In case of PDF documents there are two options:

  1. Tools > Inspectors > Document > Annotations lists all annotations of the document. Select one or more of them, then press either the Delete/Backspace key or delete them via the contextual menu

  2. Select Tools > Mode > Annotation selection or show the Editing bar and and click on the icon Screenshot 2020-08-25 at 09.02.42. Afterwards select an annotation and press the Delete/Backspace key
