First of all, DTTG 3 runs like a charm and syncs via WebDAV on STRATO like flash. Had none of any of the previously known errors.
One thing, though, that bugs me: I still have DTTG 2.x on my iPhone after migrating to 3. So far, 3 would not show in export to widgets but only 2.x. However, deleting 2.x might cause all my databases to be deleted, too, and would force me to do a full initial upload from my cloud store.
Anyone out here deleted 2 without affecting 3-data?

There is no potential to “lose your data” uninstalling
DEVONthink To Go 2 and yes, you should do so.

It was not about “losing data”. It was about “deleting data along with the deletion of the app” as this is the warning one gets prior to deletion thanks to iOS. And since DTTG 2 on my machine still appeared in the “send to”-dialog unlike DTTG 3, and since sending data to DTTG 2 (lacking the DTTG3-option) made data appear in DTTG-3 inbox, nevertheless, it seemed a valid point.
It worked seamlessly.
