Your website states that this app is compatible with Entourage yet I unable to retrieve contact files. Is there something I missed or is there a work around?

The first thing to check is your Spotlight index. DEVONsphere is using the Spotlight index under-the-hood. If you do a Spotlight search, does it give Entourage results?

Just an FYI. I mistakenly reported that DEVONsphere uses the Spotlight index. It actually uses its own index but uses Spotlight mdimporters (Spotlight plugins) for unknown file formats. Sorry for the misinformation.
