In v.4, it seems that the margins of the documents (at least rtf and txt) are now changed in such way that there always is a lot of space at least on top!
I there a way to revert to old behaviour where I could start typing from the very top without any margins or padding?
Thanks
Settings > Editing > Format
I have already looked there and I have it like in the picture.
This gives me a first line position like so:
I would like to be able to start typing just below the file title bar like in past, what am I missing?
For the txt files I can toggle between best alternative and the so-called Text Alternative but for RTF, I have no solution
This is how a new RTF file looks like:
As you see there is a lot of estate between the title bar and the first row I can write on!
That’s required by typewriter-like scrolling if enabled.
OK, got it. Thanks. I disabled it for one document and it seems to stay disabled for all other new doc, which is good.
I hope I understand well this functionality now?
Thanks
Typewriter-like scrolling and Markdown WYSIWYG can be easily en/disabled on demand via the Format menu and its shortcuts, by the way.
