I would like to upgrade to DEVONthink 4, due to the integration of ChatGPT. How does ChatGPT work inside DEVONthink please? Thank you.

Read this if you want to run the DEVONthink 4 Beta… Firstly… Optimally, DEVONthink 4 should be installed on a separate macOS user account in its own ~/Applications directory to isolate it from other user accounts. However, if you want to run DEVONthink 4 and use it with your DEVONthink 3 databases, you need to make sure version 3 can’t be launched. In the Finder, locate the DEVONthink 3 application. Control-click it, and choose Compress… After the ZIP file has been made, delete the DEVONthink…

Hi, I’m a user from China. As you know, OpenAI and Claude don’t offer services in China. Therefore, to use their services, I need to use a proxy website. These websites generate their own API keys and hostnames, and then forward my requests to OpenAI or Claude.

I’d like to know if Devonthink 4 will support custom host and key configurations in the future. This is because many proxy services are compatible with the OpenAI API standard, and without this support, most users in China will be unable to utilize the AI features.
