Is there a way to change Devonthink document icons. For example when I search for a PDF in the finder for a document storage and Devonthink data base, I get the same default iDEVONthink green con across all documents. Can Devonthink display the native document i.e. PDF, word document, etc. ?
No, not possible. When DEVONthink creates a Spotlight index, it does so by creating a metadata cache that points to all the documents that are in the database. So what you are seeing with a Spotlight search is an actual DEVONthink document, not the original document (PDF, Word Doc., etc.) that it links to. It is not possible for Spotlight to search inside a database directly.
