Is it safe to delete DevonThink To Go 2 once v 3 is installed?

When you removed it, did you do a full delete, where it removes the files? I was afraid to do that, but would like to free the space if it is doubling.

Has the price of DTTG 3 increased?
I’ve seen online that it sells for US$40 or there abouts.
In Japanese yen (where I’m located), that equates to 5,750 yen.
However, when I download the app from the Japanese Appstore, the price is 7,000 yen, which seems steep
Are there different prices for different regions, or am I missing something?
