I’m working through my long Reading list in DEVONthink ToGo 3.8.4 iOS 17.5.1 on iPad Pro and I notice when I swipe left to press the “remove” icon, the item swiped is not deleted but instead an item 2 down disappears. Seems to work as expected in iPhone 14+ with same iOS version
I don’t recall this being reported here and I’ve searched. This a thing or my imagination? I’m not sure how to make a movie of this behaviour on iOS.
The latest version is actually 3.8.6.
And I am not seeing any issue in 3.8.6 with 35 items in the Reading List.
I missed the recent upgrade to 3.8.6 (don’t use iPad that often). I upgraded to 3.8.6, restarted iPad … same result. 134 items in Reading list.
On closer watching, while when I “remove” an item, the item 2 below disappears. Then go out of Reading list, then back in to the Reading List, the item I wanted removed is gone and the apparent removed item (2 below) is still there. I think. Happens quickly.
Edit. I left the machine alone for 10 minutes or so. Now the problem does not show itself. Must be my imagination. Sigh.
Let us know if the behavior returns.
Just curious… was there any sort of database “cleanup” or something between 3.8.4 and 3.8.6 of DEVONthink ToGo?
I’m wondering if there is/was some sort of background thing going on which explains the change after letting the machine sit there for a bit.
