Heres a problem weve been having since upgrading to beta 2,
we scan the document on the fuji scansnap, it imports and the ocr is done, we name the file but then devonthink pro office doesn’t import the file…this has happened a few times now and the only option is to close down dtpo and restart and then it works fine again?!
Any ideas, or anyone else having the same issue
There is a crash that can occur at this stage in the current beta, but from your description it seems that our app is still running. So, what does the Log tool tell you? And do you see a panel asking you to inspect the document in the Finder?
Also, check the Console (in the Applications > Utilities folder) to see if any messages are logged there from our application at the time this happens.

Log tool said that the pdf had no readable text.

Are you sure that this happens with beta 2? This could happen with beta 1, but I was up to now pretty confident that it couldn’t happen anymore. Have you completely removed beta 1 and installed beta 2? Could you please do that and once you log out and back in let me know if it happens again. Please send an email to support@devon-technologies.com if it does and I will follow up with you.

i most probably only overwrote the beta1 with beta2 at the time.
I’ll delete the dtpo beta2 file app along with the library file in ‘application support’ in user library folder and re-install after reboot.
