I think my title is explicit enough, from the outside DA seems abandoned, so I wanted to know if that’s the case, or if a new version (with a new icon) was coming someday.

There will be a new version someday.

Here’s the developer’s answer whether it’s in development:

DEVONtech is a small company and they don’t tell users that something’s coming until it’s finally there.

I know it is a small company, I already bought DEVONthink and I love using softwares from this kind of company (I love The Omni Group, Panic, iA…) and they are very important to me.
