I save a lot of bookmarks from X, LinkedIN and instagram into DTP4. I would love to have a script, that extracts text, images and videos from these saved websites directly into DTP4 for offline use/archiving. Do you think this is possible so that these can be performed “automatically” for all my bookmarks? I have no coding experience to set up this by myself - and I am a bit reluctant to vibe code this in applescript, as I have realized that a lot of LLM created code is not really working. Has anyone experience with Downie4 and Devonthink? It allows to download videos from websites, maybe this app could take over the video saving for such a project (as far as I know it has also an API).

“all” is a strong word.
And have you looked at the Window > Download Manager ?

If you need the _content _, why do you save the link? Doing that and then getting the content seems a bit awkward.
Saving all images etc might get you more than you really want. Imagine logos, hero images, purely graphical pictures.
Then there’s the difficulty of deciding _which image to save in this world of responsive design…
The menu Scripts > Download contains various examples, e.g. to add links/images of a viewed web page to the database or to capture selected items having a remote URL (e.g. bookmarks) in various formats.

Maybe stating the obvious here. If you have a bookmark, you can either through a right click or through the menu convert the bookmark to a webarchive. Does that cover your requirements?
