Drag & Drop Documents into Tables - Link Field

Hello

I wonder if it would be possible to have an improved way to edit data in a table, I mean the “cross-link” (Verweis) field in a table. Currently (DT 4.3.2) it seems the only way to select a document by selecting it in the pull down menus, which is often a bit cumbersome, especially in larger databases.

I would suggest to allow drag&drop of a document into this column, I tried to make this visual in the screenshot attached.

Other options would be to allow “paste” CMD-V of a link, or allow search in the pulldown for a document…

what’s your option?

Drag & drop works in form view. (I’m not sure what it’s called in German).

You could also use a URL type column instead? I don’t really use this, so I’m not sure how much of a difference it makes.
