Dragging an image from DT into Pages stopped working

I don’t know if this a DT or a Pages bug.

If I drag a JPEG image from DT to Finder and then Finder to Pages, it works. It does not work on dragging from DT to Pages directly - I get a green ‘plus’ in pages but nothing happens when I release the mouse.

FYI - works fine in the old version of Pages 14.5

Sounds like a regression of Pages, DEVONthink’s drag & drop support (and likewise copy & paste) is the same for a quite a while and generic.

FYI Copy and paste of images into the new Pages does not work either.

It’s technically the same as drag & drop.

Does it persist after a machine reboot? I’m seeing no issue with either drag and drop or copy/paste.

For now, I have reverted to the previous version of Pages to get my document complete (it works fine) - I could download it from my app store ‘purchases’. I will give everything a reboot and try the newer version again and report back.

I have delete and re-installed the latest version of pages. Rebooted several times and I am still getting the same behaviour. Dragging from DT I get a green plus in pages but as soon as I release to drop it vanishes and no images is inserted.

For now I will stay with the older version of pages as it works fine.
