Dragging text from Safari Reader does not preserve URL

I got in the habit of dragging text from safari to the sorter to create RTF documents. I noticed that when I did this with text viewed in Safari Reader the URL is not preserved, I get “safari-resource:/Reader.html” instead. I’m assuming this is a Safari thing and not DT.

The solution is not drag text from Reader. There are lots of other ways to get text into DT. Just wanted to warn others.

thanks for the bug report! I’ve just added a workaround so that v2.0.6 will also support dragging text from Safari Reader directly to DEVONthink (and of course services or printing to PDF are already working as expected).

That’s great news. I’m a big fan of Reader, this will make it a whole lot easier.
