I’m using a few databases and often find myself switching between them all many times during the day. I already modified some of my scripts so they will work with particular databases. There are drawbacks using scripts. The biggest one is it can’t retain styling (and writing them is pretty much time consuming, especially if you’re a no-expert like me). Quite often I have to switch databases (by clicking the DB icon on the dock) before importing.
So, it got me thinking, is it possible to make the database act like DT application? Since the database is a package (like applications), maybe there’s a way to attach an action to import drag-dropped stuff, no?
