On the Clean Location question: We would NOT post this if (1) it hasn’t been thoroughly tested, or (2) if could potentially delete data.
However, if you have deleted the database on your machine before you did a Clean Location (which you should not do), there will still be Sync Data in your /Apps/DEVONthink/databases folder online. You need to determine what the unique identifier of your current databases are to know which one you want to delete in Dropbox. (Again, this would be easier if you still had the database on your machine.)
Have open ALL databases that you are Syncing.
Open /Applications/Utilities/Script Editor and paste this code…
tell application id "DNtp" to get uuid of every database
Press Run and you will have a list of the UUIDs for the currently open databases.
3. Go into your Dropbox account online and into the /Apps/DEVONthink/databases folder and locate the folder whose name is NOT in the list from the script (Also, why you need ALL Synced databases to be open).
4. Delete the unwanted folder.
