My apologies for what might be a stupid question, but will it cause problems in DEVONthink if I delete the .DS_Store files in my indexed folders/groups?
I need to address an issue in Finder, and have had to resort to this solution in the past, but that was before I started using DEVONthink. In any case, I just wanted to make sure that if I delete them that I wasn’t going to be setting off a timebomb in DEVONthink. Thanks for your help!
I would not suggest deleting those files in indexed locations.

Are you saying that you wouldn’t recommend deleting the .DS_Store files for reasons that relate DEVONthink?
I’m familiar with its effects in Finder, but am unclear about how DEVONthink may/not use this information. Thanks for your help!
This file isn’t required by DEVONthink, it’s a hidden storage of the Finder. But deleting it might remove Finder comments and customized icons of items in this folder.
