When I open the batch window (Tools/Batch…/Batch, Ctrl-Cmd-B), the window opens ok, but I can’t move it around. It is fixed to the screen center, which is not very useful. In my case, I’d like to change the names of files, and I can’t see these files because the window obscures them.
MacOS 15.7.2, if that is related.
It’s a sheet (like e.g. the smart group and smart rule editor too or when saving documents in most apps), not a window and therefore can’t be moved. It’s only resizable.
That explains it. If there’s a technical reason why it must be a sheet, I’m fine with that. Otherwise, it might be more user-friendly to have a window, i.e. something that can be moved and resized.
