I am delighted with the markdown improvements in DT Pro 4.4 but have experienced one problem. When I create a new markdown document there is no visible cursor in edit mode. If I type some text in the new document the cursor does not appear even then.
By way of background, I’m using macOS 26.6.2 with DT running in dark mode—but with “Use dark background for documents” un-checked. If I select “Use dark background for documents” the cursor appears.

Thank you for the bug report! A screenshot of Settings > Files > Markdown would be useful.

It’s a glitch of this theme, the other ones should work as expected.
Thank you. I shall, for the time being at least, use the “Default (Dark)” theme, which works perfectly. Indeed, I may stop using a light background for documents because the dark display of them (particularly markdown documents) seems substantially improved—both in rendered and edit mode. (Indeed, I can’t now recall what drove me to use the light background for documents.)
