Side question. does anyone know how to automatically get rid of the files that ScanSnap saves in addition to sending it to DT - I end up with duplicated of everything.
In DEVONthink, hold the Option key and select Help > Report Bug. In this instance, do NOT send the email. Copy the content and attach the logs when you respond to this ticket. For unrelated future inquires and reports, use this mechanism to open support tickets, sending the email to the default email address.
Did you read the In & Out > Going Paperless (Other Options) section of the built-in Help and manual?
Hi - I will do the next time it happens. It turned out that after I cancelled those 2 actions, the documents ended up in DEVONthink anyway. It had worked perfectly just a few minutes earlier and afterward I got a USB communication error so I have removed/readded the printer’s USB connection to my Mac.
Re the docs, yes I read them. I had ScanSnap ‘not saving to file’ working with DT3; this is new for me in DT4 but I cannot rule out that I made a change in the ScanSnap settings as I had to remove the DT3 profile and add the DT4 profile. To the best of my knowledge the DT4 profile is the same tough (except the destination app, of course).
