DT and Growl

I’m running DevonThink Personal 1.9.8 and Growl 0.7.4. Growl doesn’t seem to register any applications like it should be doing and it seems to be a problem with a HotServices.bundle in Input Managers that belongs to DevonThink.

I have no clue what this .bundle is doing, however, there’s an error in the log for Growl related to it.

At the moment, Growl pops up messages from VirtueDesktop and nothing else as no other applications are able to register. It would be nice to get this program going correctly if possible. Any tips appreciated.

Here’s a snippet from the console:

HotService doesn’t load on an Intel Mac – I assume you are using an Intel Mac.

Check the Growl preference pane in System Preferences. Make certain that DEVONagent is in the active applications list.

And in DEVONagent’s menu select Tools > Edit Search Sets and check under the Actions tab to make sure that a Growl notification script is enabled.
