DT Help not working using AI

Not sure if this is a bug or a configuration setting that has changed and I have not updated. Before I could use the AI in help. Now for anything I type in I get “The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format.”

DT 4.4.1
macOS Tahoe 26.6.2

The current version of macOS Tahoe is 26.7.1. Update the operating system (and stay up to date with it) and let us know if the behavior persists.

In case that helps, I’m seeing the same thing here with DT 4.4.1 on macOS Sequoia 15.8.1.

A screenshot showing both the prompt and the response would be useful, thanks.

I was able to reproduce the issue, this seems to be a server issue. We’ll check this.

In my case, Help sometimes opens and works normally. But if I close the window and then try to open it again some time later because I need to look something up, DT simply doesn’t open anything. And it’s not just Help: the first three other items in the Help menu — Extensions & Bookmarklets, Hidden Preferences, and Release Notes — won’t open either.

The only way I can access any of those options again is to quit and restart DT, although sometimes even that doesn’t fix the problem.

Thank you for the bug report! We’re aware of this issue, the next release will fix this.

Deselect the page in the sidebar or select a smaller page (the version history is really long) and it should work again.

Confirmed: version 4.4.2 fixed the issue, and DT Help is working fine now. Thanks!

Using 4.4.2 and a current (Golden Gate 27.01), I have this issue after clearing cache and restarting DT.
