DT is Duplicating non-existent folders

Hello to all,

Happy to be here as a fairly new DT user – this system is incredible!

So here’s what I am hoping someone can help answer…

I began my first database by indexing a Dropbox folder that I sync with (and access via) the Finder. I selected the folder in Finder (not Dropbox) when telling DT which folder to index.

A few days later, I decided to un-index that folder and began building my database with OTHER folders that I would actually import instead, rather than just indexing.

Then, weirdly, my DT global inbox started getting populated with empty folders with the name of the very first (and only) folder that I indexed (and later un-indexed).

Can anyone tell me why these phantom folders keep getting created??

Is there anything in the folder ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink 3/Inbox?

Yes there is!!! THANK YOU!!!

MAN that was bugging me haha. I send stuff there all the time via a Shortcut, but I never actually look in the folder. I think that solved it.
