DT vs MacJournal

I am asking if some of you have used MacJournal and what do you think of this software in comparison with DT.
Thank you.

I’d be more inclined to compare DT to Scrivener personally, or maybe Evernote depending on what you’re going to be doing with it. MJ is a pretty light weight program, not really appropriate for serious data gathering and processing, but maybe that’s what you’re looking for.

I actually use both. I use for DTPO for all my file archiving and MacJournal for tracking tech support issues and tracking items by date/time. Each vendor/topic is a “journal” and the issues are journal entries with date/time stamps.

DT has a much stronger orientation to classifying and guiding you through your information IMHO. I would say that DT is stronger in being a free form database of sorts.
