DT3 -> DT4 upgrade: Scripts Folder differences

Hi,

I did upgrade from DT3 to DT4, pretty much everything went smooth

However I’ve noticed that DT3 Scripts Folder has much more scripts that DT4, for example “Export” folder:

DT4:

DT3:

Also this, 96 vs 137 files DT4 vs DT3 scripts:

For the time being I need most “Backup All Databases” but probably there are other that I used in DT3 and might need in DT4.

I’ve searched this forum a bit, came across some post where simple copy/paste from one directory to another didn’t work, additional changes inside the script was needed.

My question is: am I missing something in order to have all scripts in DT4 ?
p.s. During installation, on welcome screen, I clicked “Install Add Ons”

Thanks
Kind Regards

Version 4 includes indeed different scripts. But most likely you’ve installed all optional scripts available via the support assistant in version 3 but not in version 4.

Thanks Christian,

I went to Support Assistant and “Install updates and extras automatically” and this is the situation:

However I still don’t have the “Backup All Databases.scptd” in DT4.

So my question is: where I can find “Backup All Databases.scptd” for DT4 ?

Cheers

It is in the export folder and called ‘daily archive’ or something similar. You may want to modify it for where you want the zip archives to go and their naming.

Scripts menu > Export > Daily Backup Archives.

Thanks Jim / Saltlane,

I would assume that actually this is full backup, not incremental / differential (for some reason “Daily” was suggesting that) ?

It is a full backup because it is just optimizing the database and compressing it.
It is also not a primary backup. It is a secondary or tertiary one that can be run at longer intervals, e.g., end of week, end of month, etc.
