DT3B6: How can I deactivate the outlook-import?

Hi,

every time I open DT3B6, MS outlook / Apple Mail is starting.
I don’t want to archive my mails in DT. How can I deactivate this?

So you’re saying Outlook or Apple Mail is launching when you launch DEVONthink 3?
- If so, is the Import sidebar open when you launch it?

When DT3 is startet I am automatically in the Navigation side bar. When I change to the Import side bar, f.e. for scanning a document, outlook and mail is starting.
And this is the behavior, I don’t want. Outlook and Mail should not start.

These apps should only start if you have the Email section open and you expand one of the email applications shown.

No, these Apps start without any action from me. And the Email section is opening and expanding automatically too.

Does collapsing the email section and relaunching the app fix this?

yes, it automatically expands.

A screencast of you hiding the Email section of the Import sidebar, then quitting and relaunching DEVONthink would be helpful.

Of course. Not only QuickTime Player, but macOS Mojave allows recording a screencast natively with Shift-Command-5 and the record options.
