When for no apparent reason I copy and paste text into the body of the sorter and it inverts - my example abcdef - and then click add to the stipulated database, I’d expect the next time i copy and paste text into the sorter body it would appear normal, but it doesn’t.
I attach screenshot for what I describe as invert.
Tthe only way I can get the appearance of the text in sorter’body to. behave normally is to quit DT4 and start from scratch. the second screenshor is what i mean by normal.
And what version of DEVONthink and macOS are you running?
Also, I am not seeing an issue in an internal build.
In dark mode, I copy text. Open the Sorter’s Take Note and paste. All is good. Press Add to create the file. Reopen the Sorter and paste again. Still white text on a black field, as expected.

This issue doesn’t happen all. the time. only when I’ve copied/pasted something that sets it off.
Your OS is out of date. I recommend you (and others) keep it updated.
I’ve update the OS to 16/6/1 i’ll post if the issue occurs again.
