Tools>Split PDF>Into pages

Let’s assume I have a 100 page lease as a pdf. If I split the pdf into pages:

  1. does the original pdf remain intact or is that split into pages?

  2. Is there a way to undo the split / combine all the pages again?

  3. is there a way to print more than one page at a time? ( I have selected 3 pages, then Cmd+P but it only wants to print 1 page.

  4. is there a way to insert / add a new page?

  5. Is there a way to add a stamp to the pdf? For example, if I draw a rectangule at the top of a page and in the details box on Annotations type Exhibit 01, how do i get that annonation into the rectangle?

  1. The original is preserved.
  2. No, you can’t undo it. Yes, you can select and combine them via Tools > Merge n Documents.
  3. Printing is controlled by the operating system and the options in the print dialog, not DEVONthink.
  4. Drag and drop to the Document > Thumbnails inspector.
  5. Don’t use a Rectangle annotation. Use a Text annotation.

Note: These are all easy to test yourself and you should read the Documents > PDF Documents section of the built-in Help and manual.
