DT4, Web Pages and Cookies

How does DT4 handle cookies when using the clip to DT extension? I’m using Firefox but I guess the same would apply when using Safari or a Chrome based browser. EG Vivaldi

Generally I try to clip as a PDF and avoid the problem, but sometimes this is not possible and I have to clip as a web page. Does DT4 download cookies and if so does it delete them immediately?

I’m really thinking about the privacy implications if tracking cookies are downloaded and remain operative.

Cookies aren’t shared between applications and haven’t been for a long time. If you’re browsing in DEVONthink then yes, cookies can be downloaded. This is controlled by the Web settings.

Thank you! How to clear the cookies/browser cache within DTP4? Or is this done after each website visit or termination of the app?
