DTG iOS Scanning

just installed Scanner Pro. After scanning and “share” a menu opens: beneath mail, photos etc there is a DT icon. Unfortunately, it only opens DTTG. I´m even able to browse my DBs and folders. BUT: Nothing happens after that. No optin to save. This seems useless to me :frowning:

You’ll find other threads here reporting same issue. I don’t know if DEVONthink ToGo or iOS–doesn’t matter. The work around is to save into the iOS File system, via “Files”, into DEVONthink ToGo folders. See @eboehnisch’s post just above yours.

With the advent of DEVONthink 4, will we be seeing a revamped DTTG? If so please can it have access to the native iOS scanning (which does edge detect and can create monochrome scans) - look at the way Notability allows users to add a page to a pdf. It is a simple workflow for those of us who have to add to documents.

Yes, we are working on the next major release of DEVONthink To Go. And while we aren’t letting too many cats out of the bag, there are many improvements coming.

(A mysterious figure in a hooded robe lights a fire in a crucible in front of a towering totem assembled from a stack of old Final Cut Pro editing manuals, boxes, and installation CDs and DVDs. Throughout the cavern can be heard some chanting while the lone hooded figure scatters a powder made of ground up SCSI cables and ZIP disks)

Yay! If you need a fussy beta tester you know where I am.

Only if fussy means going through the build’s release notes, testing and reporting on things

I’m so fussy I read the manual before switching on my kettle.
