[DTP] Application not responding during synchronization

I’m using DTP 1.3.3 and I have a database about 100MB.

I’ve indexed a Finder folder (with subfolders) containing data + analysis files that I frequently updated. After updating, I’d synchronize the folder in DTP.

Very often, DTP will stall and become ‘not responding’ during synchronization. The situation does not improve after relaunching the application or even restart my computer.

Can anyone help me?

P.S. I’m using MacBookPro, 3GB RAM, 2.33 GHz intel CPU, 160GB hard disk.

Do you use Leopard? Then please switch to pdftotext in the Preferences > PDF & PS pane and check if this will make a difference. Thanks!
