DTPO Hanging on OCR startup

Too often now, I will scan a bunch of documents through my ScanSnap iX500 and DT will appear to hang on starting the OCR process. See screenshot. I have no option but to quit DT and then recall all the documents. Anyone know how to fix?

An application stall is an environment-specific thing.
When the application is stalled, do a Spotlight search for Activity Monitor. Select our application in the list of processes - it should show "(Not Responding) and the name in red - and press Command-Option-S to run a sample on it. When the sample window opens, press the Save button and save it to your Desktop.

Reopen DEVONthink and start a support ticket by holding the Option key and choosing Help > Report Bug. Add the process sample you saved to the Desktop, and send it on to us. Thanks!
