If you are considering whether to buy the standard vs. the Pro version of DT, I’m here to tell you that I am very impressed with the OCR capabilities of DT. The ability to do OCR was one of the features that sold me on the Pro version and I have not been disappointed. One other feature (not sure if it is Pro or not) is DT’s ability to merge and delete orginal PDFs. I have almost six thousand clippings from newspapers.com and DT does a bang-up job of merging those that are multi-part.
