When I tried to access documents in DTTG through the IOS Files app, the Files app just quits. This bug occurs after I installed DTTG 3.
My DT databases are indexed from iCloud Drive folders. There is no issue if the documents are created (not indexed) in DT.
DEVONthink To Go does not support indexed files, i.e., they’re not linked to files in iCloud Drive.
Does the behavior persist after rebooting the device?
No luck after rebooting. My environment is iPhone 8 and IOS 14.4.
I have this problem with NON indexed files. Files app crashes instantly when a DT file is selected in Files.
I have discovered that it only happens for files which have not yet been downloaded to DTTG.
Is this normal behaviour? or would you have expected there just to be a delay while it was downloaded?
I discovered this after getting a new phone and setting DTTG to “On demand” instead of “Always” which I had on my old phone.
Confirmed. Not sure we can do anything about it as it’s Files.app crashing, not DEVONthink To Go. I filed an issue in it.
