DTTG 4 trouble adding local sync location

Hello,

Just installed DTTG 4 after being a happy user of v3 for a long time.

Both iPhone and iPad versions successfully imported the database of v3 installed on each device, but I am having trouble adding a local sync location to v4. Local sync works fine in v3–in v3 settings under SYNC–>Locations I have “Local Network” selected with my iMac sucessfully connected.

Perhaps I am missing something, but when I open Synchronization settings in v4, no options appear under “Add new location (local)”. See attached screenshot. Same issue with v4 on both iPhone and iPad.
I have confirmed that DEVONthink 4 is turned on in Privacy & Security –> Local Network.

Any ideas?

You should not still have version 3 installed if you’ve moved to version 4. Delete it, and its data when prompted, and reboot the device.

Sorry to revive this, but I have a similar problem. DTTG 3 was removed from my iPhone, however I cannot Add new location (local). Can you help me? Many thanks.

Did you read the Sync > Sync: Bonjour section of the built-in Help and manual ?
