In a database, when I click an item (eg in plain text) in the navigation pane and it is displayed in the main? pane, how do I clear the item without going to another or a different database?
You should be able to tap the same item in the item list again to “deselect” it.

I have wanted to know how to do this for so long but simply chalked it up to my penchant for clean spaces and didn’t figure there was actually a way to do it! And I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time asking.
