DTTG new note glitch

On the latest DTTG 4.2, iOS 26.5 on a 15 pro phone

  • Pressed/hold on the DTTG icon
  • Selected “new note”
  • Typed a title and a sentence.
  • Saved
  • Moved the note from receipts group which was where I was when the need for the note occured to me.
  • Opened the new note to keep typing
  • Typed for a few minutes.
  • Something happened that I can only guess was a sync
  • Note went to preview mode
  • Lost the last two sentences I had typed.

I was in small town Canada with sketchy 5G and scrambling for a cafe’s wifi when this happened.
Watching sentences disappear is a disheartening thing to witness when pressure is on.

I’ll track this and try to recreate this later but thought I should note it here in case anyone else has seen this.

If you can recreate it, try setting Settings > Synchronization > Schedule to a longer interval and see if the behavior recurs.

Same thing has happened to me many times.

  • Are you also on a poor network?
  • And if it happens consistently, please try what I suggested above/
