DTTG4 4.0.2 doing something in the background - but what and with which data?

What is going on there? Protocol is empty, as well activity is lacking any information about what it is working on here:

Did you clip or share any web pages from other apps?

No, that must have started unnoticed some time after the update to 4.0.2; at some point I noticed, that there is something I did not expect to happen. Last imports were a bunch of PDF, but this batch was fully synchronized hours ago and no action took place since then. Only way to stop is to leave DTTG4 and throw it off memory. As soon as you start DTTG4, its back again. Weird.

Replicated the whole stuff 1:1 from iPad to iPhone: no such effects on iPhone…

Same happened to me when I upgraded to DTTG4.0.2 today. I started the app again on the iPad and it was fine after that. No issue on iPhone.

Maybe I got the file in question. This one sat there as temporary part of a governance framework for longer (e.g. years and quite often renewed) with no effect in trashcan. As soon as the trash was emptied the spooky effect disappeared. I should have the file in backup in case. File was also at iPhone without any (re)action.

This happens when you clip something that needs a conversion, e.g., you clip a web page to Markdown. As the extension cannot do this immediately due to iOS memory and CPU cycles constraints, it hands a bookmark with instructions to the main app which in turn converts them in the background as soon as it becomes active.
