Using the PDF Service launches DEVONthink, but so does it with any other app using such a service.

@GordonMeyer: You can print to PDF and direct it to the Global Inbox’s sidebar alias. That does not require DEVONthink to be running since it is only a folder. DEVONthink would import the files when it launches.

Yes, if you have the sidebar visible and use it manually, but I’m specifically talking about automations, which are blocked due the location of the folder. That’s my point and request.

I think any process that wants to write to DT’s Application Support folder, but specifically in my case, Print Workflows, and Hazel rules.
