Email message files in Standard edition

Hi,

I just purchased Devonthink Standard and am migrating my EagleFiler database across to DT. I do not want to use DT to archive my bulk emails but I do want to be able to send individual emails that are relevant to a project into a database.

I can’t find a way to send an email message to the database without printing it as a PDF but I do not want to do this as I want to maintain the link back to the original message. When I imported my EagleFiler database, the email messages came across and the links maintained.

Do I need to purchase the Pro version just to do this?

While it’s technical able to contain an email in the Standard edition, indexing, searching for, and handling emails requires the Pro or Server edition.

Note the Pro edition has plenty of other features than just email handling! Check out the comparison matrix…
