Epub to PDF, how to style?

Converting EPUB to PDF has improved in recent versions of DT (as hinted here) and I a newly considering in-DEVONthink conversion.

Now, I need to be able to set decent font-sizes to be able to read on an iPad and poor eyes. I doodled a bit and figured out some of the fonts settings have some influence on the generated PDF.

Could you pinpoint to me which settings have what influence?

The only customization options are the ones in Settings > Web, especially the fonts and the stylesheet. But the result depends heavily on the HTML & CSS styling of the EPUB, e.g. changing the default fonts would only make a difference if the EPUB doesn’t specify the desired fonts on its own.
