Error message when inserting licence code.

Hi:

I get an error message when attempting to insert license code. It is as follows:

“The entered license code is not valid for this application but it is for DEVONthink Pro Office 2.x. Please download and install DEVONthink Pro Office 2.x which will happily accept this license code.”

Help me out here… I have run updates so the current version on my machine is the latest, and it is version 2.4.1. I press the button to download and install (as directed above), and it takes me to the latest version, which is 2.x… I really must be missing something here, because I seem to be following due process.

If you’ve been running updates (DEVONthink > Check for Updates), you shouldn’t be prompted for a license code. Is it possible you have two DEVONthink editions on your machine (e.g., DEVONthink Personal and DEVONthink Pro Office)?

This might be a problem you’d want to report directly to DEVONtech support, which are equipped to handle licensing issues.
